Our firm
Isinglass Consulting was established in 2007 and is now owned and run by two long-standing directors Paul Charles and Paul Macro.
With our impressive combined industry experience, we specialise in providing a full range of pension services to employers, trustees and pension providers throughout the UK.

Our people
We are distinctive, no nonsense industry recognised experts. We have worked in leadership positions both as external consultants and as members of in-house teams and offer unrivalled experience. The breadth of projects we are able to undertake covers all aspects of pensions management, precisely matching our clients’ needs. Projects we have helped to deliver are often at the forefront of industry progress.
Paul is a pensions and payroll professional and has held senior positions with large public and private employers. He has significant experience in all aspects of pensions strategy and the management of large pension funds.

Paul is a Defined Contribution (DC) pension specialist, but having also qualified as an actuary, his repertoire extends to all aspects of Defined Benefit (DB) pensions and more recently Collective Defined Contribution (CDC) schemes. Prior to joining Isinglass he spent 25 years leading DC consulting teams at four of the UK’s largest actuarial benefits consultants.
